Usually some people might have worry but still they stay calm and some people would began uncontrolled crying and panic in the hour before they were taken into the operating room. Whatever the reaction are, anxiety always occur before the surgery.
If this happen, you can try this blend for treating anxiety before surgery:
Blend # 1 : 2 drops of each geranium, lavender, sandalwood and 1 drop ylang ylang.
Blend # 2 : 4 drops bergamot, 1 drop lavender and 1 drop peppermint.
You can use this blend for a bath or diffuser. If you don't have one. You can try to put a drop or two in the handkerchief and sniff it when the patient start panic or worry.
